i have a 4l60e with 108k miles and sometime but not always acts up. it sometimes will not shift like it should. it will linger at high rpms and i usually tap the gas to get it to go ahead and shift. it also jerks really hard when putting it in drive. it doesnt always act up but it seems like it does it after prolonged city driving. should i change the filter and fluid? it probably hasnt been changed before which makes me not want to change it.

 

get a tranny temp. gauge. After long periods of city driving would make your transmission get pretty hot.
