Hydrolic issues with LT1 clutch

I was out driving today and my clutch pedal becasme really easy to push and would only catch right off the floor. It just got worse and worse really quick. I got it home, barely, and I saw that the fluid resevoir for the clutch master cylinder (I believe that is what it is called) was out of fluid. I filled it to the proper level and pumped the pedal a bunch of times. It firmed up but then a minute later, the pedal just went strait to the ground. Also, I could hear some "sloshing" noises as I pumped the pedal. Is there air in the system that needs to be bled out? What should I do? Thank you.

yes there is most likely air in the sys. where did the fluid go is my question.. check for leak's other wise you need to bleed it.. Might be easier to just buy a new one really if you go that far by taking the thing out.. IMHO..

So is bleeding the system an easy thing to do or is it a complicated process? I did not see anything visable for such a task. About the fluid, it has not been touched for the life of the car and since mine is a 95', is it possible that over time, it just dissapated?
