hyd clutch system 3rd gen
according to my chiltons manual my clutch master and slave cylinder are one unit and are replaced together, i went to the parts store and they have a clutch master and slave cylinder seperate, two seperate parts,
i have no pedal pressure so i went to bleed my system but there doesnt seem to be a bleeder screw on my slave cyl

Re: hyd clutch system 3rd gen
Mine is a 4th gen but I would guess they are the same. If you buy from Chevrolet it comes as a pre blead unit with master and slave. I don't have the bleeding procedure with me but it is basicly remove the slave from the trans and stroke the piston by hand untill there is no air in the system. Don't press the clutch pedal with the slave removed or you can damage the slave. If it was me I would buy the unit from GM instead of the separate parts from the parts store.
