HURST Billet Plus or Competition Plus: Which is better?

Hi.

Which of these do you think is the better shifter, and why?
Along those lines, what are the differences between the two?

Thanks!

Here is another similar thread from awhile back:

It seems like it is just a matter of preference, I think they are all much better than stock and you can't go wrong with any of them.

Rexcellent, thanks...

Yeah, I've been going through all the posts trying to get as much info as possible,
but I hadn't seen anything about the specific differences.

In any case, I couldn't resist, and ended up buying the Billet Plus off of Ebay. I got an
OK deal, I think, but the Competition Plus would've been $50 less. Let's hope there's 50 bucks worth of improvements in the newer model!

Anyway, thanks again...

I don't think you'll be disappointed, it will definitely be a big difference over stock.

I had the Comp+ back in 1995. It was the first model they made for the F-Body T56. The Billet+ came out later, appeared to be a bit more rugged, and added the "stops". Do they even make the Comp+ after 13 years?

Injuneer,

I saw a new one on Ebay for $139, which seems like a pretty good price.
It's still available as I write this...

Thanks
