does the stock trans hold up..it has 90,000 miles on it..its on a lt1..i have some bolt on's right now and heads about to put in..thinking about 75 shot..think trans might blow up or take a sh** on me

 

Might want to mention whether its an A4 or an M6.

 

Well if you have a M6 it should hold up. The transmission have Tq or Hp ratings. But from experience im pushing 392rwhp 434rwtq with a 95 T56 with 82,000 miles on it thats with 100 shot nitrous and other bolt ons. Im now pushing 150 shot of nitrous yet to dyno it and its handled it just fine so far and its been a few months now. It all depends how hard you shift and how often you abuse it. There are other factors ofcourse for the sake of keeping it short ill let others get into it a bit more.
