how to remove tailshaft 4l60e

how to remove tailshaft 4l60e

i got the trans all pulled apart but cant find out how to pull the tailshaft out. its stuck from the tooth sproket one direction and the other it wont pull through, is there a C clip i cant see?

there is a snap ring on the shaft. If you remove it the shaft should almost fall out, so be careful.
