how to put a 95 trans in 94??

I need to know how to put a 95 trans in a 94 trans am...Someone said I need to add a wire from the trans to the computer...Anyone know what wire gose where Any help would be great TIA

yes the wiring is different and the pcm needs to be programmed with a 95 bin file

On top of programming, you will need to run one wire from the PCM to the tranny connector.

Go to shoebox's website here and click 4L60E on the bottom. The wire on the tranny side connector will go into cavity U. (see 95)

The other end of that wire will end on your PCM's blue connector.
You can see the diagram here. The wire is labeled D6.
