How much would gears help me?

Well I was looking into a rebuild just to be on the safe side but ther is no way I can afford it. I was just wondering how much gears are goin to help me. Also I would like to know what my options are other than 4.10s. How high am I giong to be reving on the highway? By the way I have a 95 z28 m6 with headers, hypertech, highflow cat, cai.

4.10s are the best choice for a mild LT1 on the street. At 70 you'll see about 2k rpms, still much lower than an auto. You could also go with 3.73s or 4.56s, but the 3.73s aren't really as noticeable and the 4.56s are a little bit overkill for most people (but if you've got a 12 bolt and sticky tires they'll give you one awesome launch).
