my buddy owns a shop and is supposed to get me a used 4l60e for my camaro, how much do you think he should be able to pick me one up for? thanks

 

I've seen them go for as low as $300... I sold the one I had from out of a '96 T/A w/ 55K miles on it and included a 2200 stall for $550 shipped. I'd say $600-800 would be a fair price for a used one.

I guess it depends on how bad the seller wants to get the part off of his hands

 

I've seen a blown tranny on ebay for $75. I would buy one, and rebuild it for track myself.
