Like the title says.. I did a search but did not get anything really useful. So basically im doing headers and an LE1 package to my 94 A4 vert. She has 33k mi on the odometer, and it is getting a big transmission cooler installed aswel. Gears are being upgraded to 3.42 or 3.73. Lloyd is saying i should be making around 370 RWHP. How many miles can i expect to see before a rebuild is necessary?

I don't have enough experience to tell you how long *your* tranny
will last with your mods, but others in here might. In addition to the
answers you get from here, I'd pick up the phone and talk to Chuck
(or Vince) at FLT to get their opinion.

We've got them holding up in low 11 second street cars for over 3 years. It's all a matter of how/who builds it.

You can still call and ask their opinion - I'm sure they'll be obliging.

Try reading the sticky "why we (CPT) don't HP rate our transmissions". It is full of useful info and talks about the weak areas of the tranny.
