How much power
How much power do you guys know an LT1 A4's tranny will handle from experience? I have a fresh stock rebuilt one with like 8k miles on it and come next season will probably be pushing 370ish to the wheels N/A and a 150 shot on that. No sticky tires untill I can afford a 12 bolt but on the spray I fear for the tranny becaue I know of guys just fine in the 400-420RWHP limit but from the research I have done I will be more in the mid to upper 400rwhp zone on the bottle. I do know a few tranny guys that could strengthen it up.....
Oh and I am not a bottle freak, only use it when I need it and it might be a track only thing so I will not be spraying every weekend or day.

Re: How much power
According to one of my Camaro reference books, the 4L60-E was built to withstand 350hp/350ft-lbs. There are obviously people pushing beyond those limits, but then it is all a game of chance. If you are going to run some high numbers, which you will be soon, and then spraying, you should start saving a be prepared if something does break in the future.

Re: How much power
Well I am going to be in the 400rwhp range on the motor and I talked to my better half and I am going to keep the bottle out of the car till a strong tranny and 12 bolt go in.
500 some odd rwhp make tranny and ten bolt go boom.
