My ten bolt does not whine at all but the ammount of play in it seems to be increasing. If i leave the car in gear i can push the car back and fourth nearly 2 inches. The play is entirely in the rear from what i can see.

Im just wondering how concerned I should be. My car can consistently chirp 4th gear, but im wondering if i should start babying it because I wouldnt have the money to fix it right now.
