I have stock 2000 Z28 A4 with 2.73 gears. All i want is 3.73 and maybe a stud girdle(sp?). I would also want the shift points fixed so the car drives right along with the speedo.

Give me a price on how much this will cost.

 

Gears: ~200$

Bearings and install kit: ~100$

Stud girdle cover: ~135$

Labor: ~300$ in my area quality work

These are ballpark figures I paid last summer after my rear blew up the 2nd time. This one has held together the longest so I don't feel so raped about the labor charge

I already had a Hypertech so I used that to reprogram the gear ratio for the speedo. I don't know what that'll cost ya extra.
