How many times can you resurface an LT1 flywheel
I'm putting in a new clutch on my car, and I just checked the runout on my flywheel with a dial indicator and its .007". So I'm guessign it has to be resurfaced. How many times can you resurface a stock LT1 flywheel? And if the flywheel has runout does that mean the pressure plate is bad? I was just going to sand my PP and re-use it. BTW, my car only has ~4K on it since I put in the new clutch, pp, and resurfaced flywheel. I bought a T56 conversion, so I know the flywheel has been resurfaced atleast once, can it be resurfaced 2-3 times without a problem?
*edit*
Does anyone know the min thickness of an LT1 flywheel?

One more thing. Would the runout even matter since the pressure plate would sit flat against it anyway? I mean .007 is nothing, I don't see how it could hurt anything. The reason I don't want to get it resurfaced is its in perfect shape, no grooves or anything. Would sanding it to break the glaze be good enough?

How much visible wear is their on the flywheel? Is there a step that you can feel? How did you measure runout? Did you run the dial indicator around a un-worn section to check zero, then check the worn area?
Surfacing it will not be a problem, you can take more than .050" off those and still be good.
