It is pretty easy, it just slides on. There is a pivot point that has a clip that the fork snaps on to, do u have the correct throw out bearing installed?

the bearing has a spot that comes to a point to help the fork slid on, do u have it lined up right?

i dont think the bearing is in the right spot (two flat spots need to be lined up?)i turned the crank n the bearing doesn't look like its moving just the shaft is spinning and the bearing isnt..the clutch and everything is spinning just not the bearing..ive been trying for hours and cant seem to get it rite..did you watch the vid i posted..thats not on rite ..rite?? i mean its pretty dang loose i know there is suppose to be some play but i would guess only a little wiggle?? any ideas on how to spin the bearing i tryed with a screwdriver that didnt work either..

You might not have the bearing installed right on the pressure plate. the bearing should be loose and should spin very easy.

Do u have the disc installed in the right position, disc should have one side say "flywheel side" other side should say "pressure plate" Maybe its installed backwards and effecting the bearing.

Did you use an alignment tool when installing the clutch and pressure plate?

Flat spot on bearing????

What exactly is the replacement clutch, pressure plate and flywheel part number?

Here is a stock replacement pressure plate.

Clutch should sit in flywheel like this....

All together it should look like this......

If that fork does slide up with some force and click sound then you either have it in wrong or you have the wrong parts. Watching the video it is hard to see the throw out bearing.

It looks right. The fork isnt going to lock on to the through out bearing. There is a clip on the fork that the t-bolt clips to. there is going to be play on the fork like in the vid, The TObearing doesnt spin cause where the fork goes in to the TObearing it isnt perfectly round. there is a spot on it that hits the fork to keep it from spinning. The clutch pressure plate spins not the TOBearing.

Correct me if i'm wrong

Re: how the helllll do you get the clutch fork on throwout bearing? lt1 t56

Well we started the car up after bleeding the hydraulics and Leavin the fork where it was ( we did hold the folk down with a pry bar n spin the motor by hand to make sure it was disengaging which it was) so we started it up and turns out the forks hitting the pressure plate so we used some washers to space it back ended up spacing it back to the end of the studs. And about the last 3/4-1" of petal still hit..so we cut a litte off the slaves push rod and then tried pushing the petal in and the masters rod snapped in half and there is a small amount of fluid comin out the front of the master (inside the car)...so nowhere does this leave me why is the fork hitting I'm using all "stock" lt1 parts is the pivot wore out and if so what do do and if not what do I do about it hitting the pp. Do i need a new master and need to shorten the rod on the master to match the slaves shorten rod?

Yes it's all put in the right way and every part is the correct part.

Rij1 that sounds right to me..,makes perfect sense..the clips r suppose slide over the t Sudetenland not under correct ?

Thanks again for everyone's help

yes, The T-stud goes between the clip and the fork

I'm having the same problem with my release fork hitting the PPlate also and from what I've read people have been grinding a little off the fork or the t-bolt.

Or just a ****y luck kinda thing lol..what happen that yours started to hit ? And do you know what part of the fork and stud ppl grind down is it the part of the stud that is in contact with the front of the trany?

Yeah, i'm having that problem rite now but only when I press the pedal down all the way. Ive been trying to find another way of fixing it from online sites but havet found any. my clutch went out and after I replaced it this problem came up. I'm going to go through it all tomorrow and see what I can do to fix my problem. I'm not sure what part on the fork You would see whare marks on it but I would grind the t-bolt instead.

The bottom of the t is what I would grind

Fork pulled out

Fork pushed in

Re: how the helllll do you get the clutch fork on throwout bearing? lt1 t56

No way I would grind on that and bandaid the problem. The replacement parts I bought for mine, fork and pivot just 2 months ago cost me $80 shipped to my door. If you are off just slightly all you are going to do is keep the clutch engaged even out of gear. You will realize this with it all back together and having the rear jacked up and the car on. Also if you put in the new slave and don't have the plastic ball on, it will do the same. Be smart and do it the correct way. Here is where you can get the parts cheap and quick. Just call them up. http://www.Thegearbox.org/home.html
