Simple install, don't be scared. Basically what you're going to do is splice the cooler in line with the return line from the radiator. This will route the fluid through the radiator cooler first and then the auxilliary cooler.

+1 to the rest, very simple install, and cheap insurance.

I put a Hayden on my 94Z the other day, I decided to mount it on the pass side for air flow so I removed the stupid little black piece that screws to the air dam and mounted it to the factory bolt locations and in about 30 minutes presto cheap tranny insurance I noticed even after hard driving and in town stop&go the tranny cooler is still cool enough to touch without getting burned, I say this is a very good mod I paid>$25+shipping off ebay for mine included everything I needed&fairly comprehensive instructions to boot

Hardest part is figuring out the feed/return lines. Brent's page takes care of that though.

I don't know on manual since I have an A4 but the transmission feed line is on the bottom right hand side or pass side depending on how you look at it? And the return line is the top right hand side or pass side line it should be coming out right near your rad cap. Once again not sure on manual cars since I have an A4 but I'm pretty sure they would be the same. I just want to say this is a very easy/cheap mod well worth the money especially if you have high miles or are making more horsepower, from what I've read and been told by mechanics if you can lower the average operation temp by 20 degrees you can effectively double the tranny life
