How to determine which carrier for these gears?

I have a set of 3.42s that I'm selling but I'm not sure what carrier they are for. I understand that the difference is in the thickness of the ring gear. Can anyone give me the dimensions of the 2 and 3 series gears and where to measure at to determine which carrier these gears are for?

Are they factory GM gears, or aftermarket? Factory 3.42's are 3-series.
