i have a bent axle on my 01 SS and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a step by step guide through the install of stock replacement axles.

can't help u out with the guide, but can give u some pointers. pull the diff cover off and look inside. you'll see a small bolt with the head pointing towards the pass side, i believe. take that out and then it's time to take the pin out. it is the round metal thing, bout the size of a cigar, running through the center of ur carrier. tap on it a little and rotate the carrier and pull it out. then push the axles in (take tires and brakes off of course) and you will see the c-clips in the carrier. they should be loose, depending on how bad u bent ur axles, and pull them out. the axles will then slide out each side. reverse process.
