how to balance RAM flywheel ?

hello,

i'm just making an auto to manual conversion on my car.

My problem is : i bought a RAM aluminium flywheel which is said to be neutrally balanced. I know i need to balance it to the same specs than my flexplate.

My problem is to know how can i had weight on this kind of flywheel ?

Take both pieces to an engine shop; they can/will do it for you.

If you can't find a machine shop, Either get an internally balanced engine or buy an lt1 flywheel.

i have already an engine done and very happy with it. I'm making the trans swap because my A4 ends failing of abuse.

I've already bought the RAM flywheel.
I know how to find the weight necessary to balance it.

My only question is how to fix the weight on the flywheel a safety way

Drill+tap+bolt or weld.

as it is aluminium, i think welding is not a good idea. It should make the flywheel distorde.
I though doing the other solution, just wanted to find a safe way to do it in this particular flywheel.

Thanks for your reply rudedog
