Horrible noise and Shake

Well it started a few days ago...I heard a clicking sound that became louder and faster the faster i went. Parked the car for the night and went to start it in the morning. I let it warm up for a while and went down my block and the slight clicking became an intense pounding which shook the car violently. I have a 96 z28 and never really had a problem like this before. A neighbor of mine said i could have cracked the clutch but the car still will move but barely. Also the engine is fine i can rev is when i hold the clutch in and no noise or shake. But when the clutch is in or if i just let it roll the sound comes back along with that horrible slamming noise. I assume something broke somewhere down the line and hoped you guys could help.

Sounds like something in the driveshaft / u joints. More along the lines of the U joints. That would be the first thing I would look at.
