Angry high torque shift rattling...

i have a 95 z28 with four speed autotrannie. When i gun it with max torque in first gear, it pops into second with a rattle that sounds similar to running on grooved pavement like on the side of real long and straight highways. It only does this in high torque and in first, then the 'abs inoperable' light comes on. If i dont max torque in first it still jumps really nice with that signature jump and pull into second gear without the rattle. I dont think it s the trannie or the differential. Anyone know what this could be???

no, it is limited slip differential... it is still stock, i had the engine rebuilt but i have not modified a single thing. I really like it the way it is and plan a full restoration. I am original owner.. no wrecks on it either, ever.

Thumbs up

hey thanks for the advice, is this a hard part to access, and what should i expect to pay for parts and labor for this kind of work? I really don't know where this part is located on the drive train. Can you hone me in?

the torque arm bushing is pretty close to the tranny mount, the torque arm is mounted on the tailshaft housing of the tranny
