The Type clutches or even band you use is only half the game or less really. The hydraulics and knowing how to get those oarts to work together is the real trick in any build. I have seen trans fail that had the finest of parts made,(GOOD PARTS ARE STILL ALWAYS GOOD) But I have also see relativley cheap builds witht he right hydraulics hold up to some pretty serious power. Better parts are not always the answer and poor parts are rarley the cause of a short term failure like you appear to have had.

Did you get a warranty??? Most rebuilds are warranted for at least 1 year or 12,000 miles. You need to go back to who rebuilt your trans and make them do it right.

While I don't doubt this, if one was to want to get the first half of the game right, what parts should one start with.
