Hi-po lockup converter (TH400)

I'd really like to gain back the mph I lost with the T56 to TH400 conversion. A lockup converter should do the trick. Anyone aware of any lockup converters that can handle high hp? I don't think it would be that hard to modify the tranny to incorporate an electrical lockup mechanism (controlled by a switch). But are there any strong lockup type converters out there? Something that will handle ~900-1,000hp in a 4,000+ lb car.

Thanks.

Rich, check with Vigilante. They claim to have a lock up converter for a turbo 400 that will handle up to 1200 hp.
