Hesitation after breaking with an Auto

I have an 94 z28 with an Auto. I have a tune from Madz28.

When Im coasting at lower speeds with my foot on the break, and then release and give it a moderate amount of gas, It seems like something is hesitating. I can hear the engine reving up a little, but I dont really accelerate. Then soemthing kicks in it feels like, and the car will jump forward. The hesitation lasts maybe half a second. This does not happen at complete stops or with very gentle application of the pedal. I havent noticed any other problems.

I just noticed it, but I have started driving in traffic more often, which caused me to notice it. Is this normal or is something dying on me?

Thanks for the help

Is hesitation coming from the trans, or are you having a miss on the motor?

I don't know man, when mine first started going out, I had little slipping, in 1 and then progressed to the other gears. I can't help ya a whole lot from what your saying. Sounds like it might have some signs of a future rebuild. Hope everything works out.
