Question Help w/ Man. Transmission pull

For the past couple of days, I have been trying to pull my 6 speed out of the z28 (1994). I'm down to the point of pulling it out, but it has only moved maybe an inch. I have done everything I can think of, but still, it deciedes not to move more than that one inch. It looks like it may be stuck on the trouwout bearing, but I dont know. This is my first pull and any help would be much apreciated.

Did you pull the clutch fork off the throw out bearing?
You need to take the slave cylinder off, remove the slave spacer, then pull on the fork to disconnect it.

yep, same problem I had 1st time. You have to take the slave off and pull down on the clutch fork so it pops off.

okay, so I went to go and pull on the fork, mind you the tranny is still and inch or so out. When I started to pull, it didnt budge. I put all I could and still nothing. After getting pissed I walked away for about ten minutes. When I cooled down, I went back under the car. I started to findle around with it and I pushed on it. When I pushed like the cylinder does, it moved back where the tranny should be, back against the block. I pulled on it lightly and the fork damn near just fell out. lol. I just kinda chuckled and the tranny came out with a breeze. Thanks again guys.

when you take it out look at how it works.....its made to slide outward so its not grabbing the T/O brg.

Once you look at it you will understand what I m talkning about

Yeah, when the trans was an inch or so out their was pressure on it which is why you need to push it full back against the bell housing so the fork will slide off.
