help! vibration

Okay i took my car to the transmission experts and the owner told me that he is 99% that the vibration cause is from the torque converter , they charged me 652 dollars to changed out the torque converter to brand new one and tighten some bolts in the back rear end (it was making some whistling noise when letting off the throttle) and now that part of the problem (whisling) is solved.

the vibration is come and go starting from 1500 rpm disappear and comes back at 2200 rpm (car on parked) and when we test drove it the car vibrates at speed starting 40mph.

this is what they did before deciding to replace the torque converter:

they unbolt or removed the converter(not sure or just unbolt or completely removed) and run it and rev the car and they said that the vibration is significantly disappeared(there is still some left, just a little bit). and when they installed the new converter, its back to vibration again...

i left my car there until tommorow and having them rebalance my drive shaft. he said that it could be something driveshaft related(not all vibration but when moving only) he also said that he is going to run injector cleaner through the fuel rails and clean the injectors...

Can someone help me out on this topic.
