Help! Stuck Trans

I am pulling my transmission to replace a blown clutch. Working under the car with jack stands, I unbolted the trans and cross members. The trans separates from the motor about 3 inches then stops. I have tried to pry the two apart and it wont go any further. It is not hitting any chassis parts – it seems to be held by the clutch assembly.

How can I move it back the rest of the way? Am I supposed to do something with the clutch fork?

Thank you.
