Most people find a locker completely unaccetable in a street car. If you car is 90% strip with an occasional ride on the street, you may want a locker. Otherwise, stay far away from one. Especially if you have never driven a car with one installed. There is a very loud, quite violent clunk when it locks/unlocks. No fun at all, IMHO.

Why do you say you need axles? If you do, the cheapest solution might be to buy a complete rear from someone who has upgraded, install your 4.10's and you will be good to go.

hey Rich, I'm kind of wondering the same thing. On Dr I will be running 10's and n2o mine is a auto. I neverc wll have slicks on it so I will have a little spin. Wondering should i use replacement Moser axles, and a new posi carrier, I forgot the name of the carrier but its a takeout unit. I will be using 373. Axles 225, posi 120, gears 100 set up 50.00 (friend) Under 500 or I can buy the Moser for 895 without a center. I have a few centers laying around even with gears. About 1000. I have never used a 10 bolt, do you think it will work with Dr's any insight would be appreciated as I have noticed your answers are prety much on the money

i dont care about the noise i just want something that will lock the rear solid and still be able to turn corners and i think i need axels because there is a clunk in my rear and it is not the ring and pinion
