help: clutch adjustment(new centerforce)

I just installed a new dual friction centerforce clutch. The problem is that it will not disengage. I did a search and found that people said that with this clutch some adjustment is necessary, but no one said how. Can anyone tell me how to adjust this. I didn't think that you could adjust a hydralic clutch.

Thanks
Dustin

out of curousity, what are you symptoms? I have a center force as well, for the past 50,000 km's...

but i find it hard to get into gear from a stop about 50% of the time...

I have NOT done any sort of adjustment, but would also like to know what it entails!

It sounds like your car has the same problem as mine. I had to put a new clutch slave cylander in to get it to go in gear at all(the old one was leaking alittle bit). Even with the new cylander it still doesn't go into gear very easy, sometimes I have to pump the clutch to get it in gear. Also I have noticed that sometimes it comes out of gear hard when shifting, just like you tried to **** without the clutch. In addition to both of those the clutch also engages at the very bottom of the clutch travel. I bearly have to let out the clutch before it engages. All of these symptoms make me think that there is not enough travel in the clutch causing the clutch to bearly disengage.

Does anyone have any idea how to adjust this?

One of the more advanced members on the board had talked about the Centerforce clutches in our cars previously. He said the clutch would work just fine if an adjustable master cylinder was used.
I can't remember who was talking about it, you might be able to do search for centerforce or adjustable master cylinder.

I think I will try to make the adjustable master cylinder. My only consern is that will this over extend the slave cylinder? Would it be better to move the slave closer to the fork?
