Exclamation Help With C-Clip!!

Has anyone ever had problems getting the frigging c-clip off the end of the axle shaft? I've heard some people say they should fall right off but it dosent like that'll happen for me in a million years.

If you haven't already, you need to push in on the axle. Once you do that the c-clip bascally just falls right off. On mine the c-clip just barely hung on and I grabbed it with a pair of needle nose pliers.

I can only move the axle so far in because of that ABS exciter ring and i cant really get enough clearance to grab it with some needle nose

the abs ring should not keep the axles from moving in...u have to push then in from the end where they wheel bolts up...your not moving the carrier, just the axles shafts

the ring I'm talking about is between the hub at the end of the axle shaft and the axle tube so it does interfere.

I was in the same boat as you not to long ago. As everyone said push the axle in as far as you can. And then rotate the axle. I was stumped when I did mine b/c everything I read said the clip would just fall out mine didn't until I turned the axle.

P.S. Mine also has trac control

you gotta take the bolt out of the ABS/Trac Control magnet at each end of the housing. Move it out of the way and they'll slide in enough no problem
