hey guys,
i just got my car back on the road and the other day i noticed it didnt have that get up and go acceleration. then i noticed my car wont shift from 1st gear to second until about 3200rpms and then to third it'll shift normally but it wont go into fourth. i even tried manually shifting from 1st through all the gears...not aggressively just seeing if i could get my transmission to shift into fourth, but it did not respond when i upshifted from d to od. then i got off the highway and accelerated slowly and their was a loud screeching noise and my car wasnt responsive to any acceleration it juist revved so i putted my way home and it felt like it was trying to engage but slipping. i checked the fluid it was dark but the level was okay. and thats pretty much all i got. help, i just got this thing back on he road and everyone is teling me to sell it.

Tranny suffered internal failures would be my guess replace, rebuild, or get rid of it I guess

 

yeah i figured it was shot....the fluid smelled like brake fluid and was really dark...thanks tho
