Let us know what you decide to do, or how it works. I am clutch shopping right now too.

Find out what PP they use and what the disk is made out of? I always believe you get what you pay for and RAM is known for making good quality products. There's probably a reason that this ebay company is not.

they carry fidanza flywheels and other name brand products. i might call them up this week and just get a feel for the company. talk to them about the clutch and see what they have to say for it.

Re: Grip Force clutch from Ebay for LT1

It looks like a glorified OEM clutch set to me. It has the exact same Valeo pressure plate that every other LT1 clutch set has, the smooth fingered LT4 PP. It is painted blue but that is the only thing special about the PP. There is no way to beef up the PP, again they are all exactly the same.

The disk looks like a OEM organic as well. Nothing special here either.

You can expect this clutch to be comparable to you existing stock clutch. There is nothing special about this clutch.

In terms of price, its not too bad. If you have mods then get a better clutch set.

Also Autozone witha LIFETIME warranty. It is the exact same as GM replacement for hundreds less. It has the LT4 PP and the OEM organic disk.

You can even buy a custome Kevlar or other disk to go with the Autozone PP.

EVERY clutch manufacturer, be it spec, ram, mcleod, ebay, etc uses a valeo pressure plate.

You will not find a single aftermarket using the ribbed finger LT1 PP. It is supposed to be a weaker component. However I have a LT1 plate that has more clamping force then my drilled SLP LT4 disk.
