Grinding t56

A.m everyone. After working on my cousin t/a all went great never did a t56 his car is a nite and day difference it made me wonder bout mine since I had it for 9 years now and put over 60k on it. So I decided to take my tranny out loe and behold the clutch looked like it had 5 more miles on it till it died lol. So ordered everything new from pilot bearing to pp.now the trannny from the 2-3grinds and is sometimes hard to put into gear and fourth also makes a grind not much tho. Also the shifting in all gears feels notchy and not as smooth as before it's the stock shifter should I rebuild it or get a new one? Or the worst case trans going I have 162100 on it now still breaking in the clutch. Everything is all lined up and bolted underneath

Re: Grinding t56

Are you sure the clutch isn't still dragging when you release it? Did you resurface the flywheel?

Re: Grinding t56

Hey injuneer.everthing is lined up cleaned and yes flywheel was resurfaced. It's weird if I pull up on the shifter it doesn't do it but if I don't it does.cross member is bolted in good trans mount is great shape. I'm still leaning towards a worn shifter? The plastic cup in the tranny is good. No cracks or ware
