When I shift hard into 5th at high RPM it will sometimes grind very badly but will still go in (this does happen on casual low rpm shift into 5th sometimes as well) I know my clutch has issues and am about to replace it....do you guys think that is my problem? It only does it in 5th and only about 10% of the time, so im kind of wondering about the synchronizers in the tranny.

 

Mine does the same thing sometimes. Even on a nice slow shift it will grind real quick but still go in.
