got another tranny question

got another tranny question

will the 4L60e out of a 95 corvette work in my 93 z28 ? if not what will need to be done to make it work ? there is no hope for my tranny the dumnb*ss shop that tried to charge me 2900 to rebuild it back to stock got pissed and broke everything and cracked the shell. and the tranny i got only has 8k since rebuild. its the best i can find at my budget

ok well it wont work straight up any one got a clue on how i can make it work or does any 1 wanna trade a 4l60e outa 95 vette for a 93 4l60

The 4L60E requires a PCM to shift it electronically. Your 93 ECM does not have the required circuitry. Someone may make an aftermarket electronic unit to control the 4L60E.

ok well what about a 700r4 ? what would it take to make it work?

700R4 and the 4L60 are basically the same tranny.
