Re: Good tranny?

asked the guy, and he said you can choose 4l60e or 700r4. For some reason he sells both in the same thread. What reasons do you think that it isnt a good tranny. Comes w/ 12 month warranty. Seems to have good internals, great price, and seller has over 25 years experience. I went to cpt site. looks like they do good work, its just that my tranny is showing signs of failure, and Id rather have one standing by, instead of shipping it off. Could someone recommend a good place to get a quality 4l60-e for less than $1000? (not including shipping)

I don't see why this would be a bad idea. His feedback checks out, and the internals are better than stock. You can't beat that price either, I sure would go with it if my trans were on it's way out.

Re: Good tranny?

thats what i was thinking. It seemed like a good deal, and im not looking for somethingoverbearing, im planning on doing a bolt on only, plus suspension setup, and try to hit 12s. (till my engine takes a sh*t) Iknow it can be done, and its gonna happen. Anyway, I just came accross this tranny, and wanted to see if anyone has bought one off this guy. Im sure someone w/ 25 years experience isnt going to build a sh*t tranny
