First off grats on the TC. Your gonna love it and should gain .5 seconds in the 1/4 mile with that verter if you have traction.
If you can swing it I would pick up a TCI shift kit too. I heard it makes a night and day difference on how sharp the shifts are after a TC goes in. As far as install goes be warned that you must completely remove the transmission from the car to install a TC. That means you must get the car high off the ground so just jacking it up with a floor jack will not due the trick.
If you have a lot of tools, car stands and experience with car repair then go for it. It'll take about 4-6 hours from what I read. If not then I would save $350 and pay a shop to install the TC, shift kit and tranny cooler for you.
Do a search for Torque converter installation in any search engine. There are lots of write ups out there that you can read and decide if it's a job you want to tackle yourself. I did and that's why I decided to pay Speed Inc. $350 to install my trio of madness for me.
Good Luck and remember the TC will kill street tires if you jump on it a lot. Might want to invest in Drag Radials if you havn't all ready. That verter has a 2.5 STR and hits hard off the line.

Actually I know a guy in Euless Tx that will install that bad boy for 150. And I can assure you he knows his $hit. Email me at balboalt1@yahoo.com and I will give you his info. He is not a board sponser, but he posts at LS1.com as TDP.
