1997 Z28 A4. Currently has 3.23 gears in and am switching to 3.73 gears. There are 2 choices for 3.73 gears. 3.23 and higher carrier and 3.08 and lower carrier. I assume I get the higher carriers right? Also what should I do about my speedometer being off? Get a used Hypertech Programmer? Don't want to live with the speedo off...

 

About the speedometer adjustment. I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from a Hypertech Power Programmer. I only say this because it would run you about $150 or so. For this kinda price you could just order a mail-order tune from Madwolf or anywhere else, which would not only adjust the speedometer, but might gain you a couple HP too! .....just something to think about coming from someone who wasted his $$ on a Hypertech....

 

That is correct on the gearing. You have a 3 series carrier.
