gains with stall
gains with stall
over the winter i had my tranny rebuilt and built to handle the increased load from a stall, i bought a vig3200
the car has a full exhaust, 3.73 gears, obdi conversion are the main mods and a little suspension
i finally got the car to run without hitting the limiter during the shift with help from bryan at pcmforless
anyways what did you guys drop with your stall.
my best before was: 13.217@104.38, 1.906 60'
and today my new best is: 13.04@103.2, 1.691 60'
everything i gained was in the first 60', not sure if something is wrong or did i miss some trick while installing the stall. i have a datamaster scan of 2 runs made today scanning the engine and tranny if anyone wants to look at it.
thank
steve

What was the diff in the weather between the 2 days? i know that my car can lose anywehre from 2-5 mph depending on the air.. So if your base was in the winter time and your newest in the heat and humidity of summer.. there is your lost time.. Nice 60ft btw..
thanks
i have no idea, i did run that time later in the year last summer, yesterday was cooler than normal and not humid for this time of the year here.
i did notice from looking at the logs, the car is seeing some knock at each shift, but not sure whats the cause, no ses light, everything looks good to me, but i'm not close to an expert. anyone want it emailed to look at it for me, i'd greatly appreciate any help or suggestions
