G-body rearend to Camaro?

I have a Dana 60 off my 81 Malibu. Am scrapping the Malibu and was wondering how difficult it was to install the G-Body rearend to the Camaro. I've taken into account the spring and shock different locations. And of course the driveshaft.
Just wondering if it will be worth my time and effort to do this.
How hard (or if it will even work) would it be to relocate the shocks and springs?

These rearends are expensive and don't want really want to sell for less than what I paid. It has zero miles on the rearend.
I Was hoping it won't be too difficult to switch out.
Any suggestions or helpful hints would be appreciated.

Thanks

Might want to add a little more info, like the year of your Camaro. If its a 3rd Gen or 4th Gen, how did you plan to add the torque arm mounting bracket to the differential housing?

Ha, um, yeah. I'm gonna let Fred handle this one. Just posting because I'm interested in the answers...

A chassis shop could make a jig to weld the spring perches and whatnot - the problem is going to be the TA mount as pointed out by Fred. The TA mount seems to be the only reason that other rearends have not been offered.

Re: G-body rearend to Camaro?

Fred,
Thanks for your response.
No to the torque arm. The Dana 60 from the G-body has upper and lower control arms. The lower arms match fine on the Camaro, I was thinking of welding onto the Camaro, a couple of brackets so the upper control arms could be in use.
And of course adding the sub frame connectors.

My Camaro is a 1988 RS.

Thanks,
Tim
