full manual 700R4 in a 93 Camaro, what are my shifter options??

I'd like to get a different shifter possibly. I have a 1993 Z28, and will be installing my new tranny next weekend. I got an Art Carr 700R4 with the manual valve body.

Has anyone had experience with any shifters that will work without any cutting to the center console? or minimal cutting if needed?

I was looking at the hurst pro matic 2,

seen there at jegs, but I don't see how that would work since there is no button/lever like the stock setup.

Any info would be appreciated! If I don't change the shifter, I'm going to go with the DMH shift adapter and a new ****, or the MBA Aluminum adapter and ****.

I am using the stock M6 console with a B&M Pro Ratchet. Not sure if it would work with the auto console though.

Rich, do you have any pictures of your setup?

Sorry, I don't and the car is stored until the motor is ready to reinstall. But the shifter fits fine unter the console. I just made an aluminum plate to cover the hole in the tranny tunnel and secured the shifter body with sheet metal screws. Fred (Injuneer) has some nice pictures of his, which is similar. That's where I got the idea. He uses the shifter boot, but I don't. I think he has a website and the pics are there, or just email him.

Regards.
