Work on power mods first. The Fuddle 3200 isnt going to give you the gains a Hotcam kit, headers, etc are.

I would respectuflly disagree with Bersaglieri. I have a 3000 stall and it knock off quite a bit in my times. The catch is you have to have tires to get the most out of it. Here is my recollection of my mods on this car in the 1/8th
with a hooker catback I ran 9.27
added headers ORY ran 8.9
tuning 8.75
stall 8.6s
tires to go with the stall. see sig
This is a crap 3000 stall too. I am looking at getting a new one because this one is NOT efficient on the top end at all. Does anyone know how efficient the Fuddle is? Ive heard good and bad as far as that. I hear Edge are pretty efficient up top.

He already has a 2800rpm stall, and swaping to a 3200 isnt going to give him anywhere close to what a cam kit and exhaust would.

But what size is that 2800 rpm stall? If it's a stock size converter (11") restalled to 2800, it sucks. Therefore he would make a pretty good gain going with a 9.5" fuddle 3200.

I agree if its a 2800 11" restalled stocker then a swap to a 3200 9.5" would be worthwhile. But if you have 9.5" 2800 swaping to a 3200 isn't enough of a change to make it worth it. If your really set on a new stall I'd go bigger like 3600-3800. Personally I'll never deal with Fuddle again.

Best info in this thread.

Midwest is a half and half converter. They were popular for a little while cause no one else made a 1/2 way decent converter for the price. They work ok, but I wouldnt go through the trouble of swapping one out unless you were going to an Edge or Vigilante.

You WILL see better gains from a Hotcam kit and exhaust mods over just changing the converter.

Match the converter stall to your setup. It's amazing how every bolt on guy wants a 3600 stall cause they saw someone else run good with it.
