FLYWHEEL: Minimum Thickness?

I have searched and can not seem to find an answer to what the minimum thickness of a stock, resurfaced flywheel is(for LT1). many people have asked, but all seem to have no answer in their threads, so im trying this again.

I know mine needs it, and I know it has been resurfaced at least once by me, but before that I have idea. If anyone also knows the stock thickness, that would be helpful also.

well ****. I picked up the flywheel from the machine shop on my way home and the guy said he had to take off .060" because it had some deep scratches. And this is after it has already been done once. I get home and I'm getting measurements of 1.742, and seem to be getting the stock thickness is 1.828 from further searching. So thats a .086" difference from stock.

If I knew it would have had that much taken off I might have just bought a new freakin flywheel he says it looks to still have a good bit of material left and gave me two shims, a .025" and a .050". Am I going to regret using these shims with this flywheel?
