Talking Flywheel ??

Hey guys,
I'm in need of a flywheel for my 95' LT1. My question is would any 1pc rear seal flywheel work or does it have to be a specific LT1 flywheel. I need to get my rotating assembly balanced and am going internal front and back so that's why I was wondering if I get the RAM internal one it would work??

dont quote me on this but i'm pretty sure any flywheel made for a one piece rear main seal should work

what i'm not sure about is the pressure plate bolt pattern on an lt1/t56 clutch compared to like a sbc/t5 clutch

You need a 153 tooth flywheel to use the stock starter setup.

Flywheel bolt pattern is same for sbc and LT1. BUT, I think the transmission you are using determines the flywheel as much as the crankshaft mounting holes. If T56, then you have a pull-style clutch and the cluth disc needs a lot of clearance, so that flywheel has a fairly deep 'valley' leading in toward the crank bolts. If T5, then you have a traditional push-style and the flywheel valley isn't very deepy. But one flywheel won't work on the opposing transmission setup. Now, if there are flywheel options within the same transmission family, you are OK. Just be careful not to let anyone sell you a flywheel from another trans family.
