flywheel ?

i am looking to buy a new flywheel for my 383. the rotating assembly was balanced with itself when i bought it so i need a zero balanced flywheel, correct? what flywheels will work? i would assume that i would need a flywheel for an internaly balanced motor considering my new setup but will any 153 tooth flywheel work on an lt1? only some of the 153 tooth flywheels i have seen say they are not for lt1 engines, is that because the stock rotating assembly is balanced with the original flywheel?

also, does anyone know if this flexplate is zero balanced?

Re: flywheel ?

would it be ok to just grind the weight off of my stock flywheel? will that be close enough to neutral balance or should i take it to a shop an have it done?
