Flushing Slave Cylinder Fluid
Flushing Slave Cylinder Fluid
What's the method for flushing out the slave cylinder fluid for new fluid? Also, what fluid is recommended?
Looking into this a bit more... The MC and SC are both connected together... does the SC have any sort of special method to bleeding it, or will simply bleeding the brakes out with new fluid clean that up too? And dealing with the "Drill Mod".. is removing the SC and MC really necessary?

there is a bleeder valve on the passenger driver side of the trans, just above where the hydrolic line goes into the trans. use that just like the bleeder valve on brakes.
hold clutch in, crack valve, close valve, release clutch...check resevoir level.
repeat untill fluid is new.
yes you have to pull the MC to do the drill mod. for 2 reasons. one access and the other is to be able to flush the drilled material out of the line.
