the stock tranny holds 12 quarts...(6 quarts - converter, 6 quarts - trans) but when you drop the pan, you will probably only get like 4 quarts out. Go with cheap Dexron III. For rear, go with a good quality synthetic, you will need 2 quarts of fluid and a 4 oz. bottle of Limited slip additive.
I would check the tranny mount, and if its in one piece, you can leave it alone. But if you really want, you can replace it with a GM piece ~$13, or a prothane ~22...

no dexron III is just the type/ mix of fluid....any brand of dexron III like RP will do just fine. I dont know what brand fluid is best for t56 since i have an a4.

Do you have reason to believe that your current tranny mount is broken or worn out? If you want to upgrade to poly, its your call, last I heard, Autozone does sell the poly mounts.
