Flexplate options.

I've got an internally balanced 383 and plan or around 650rwhp with a blower and was wondering what flexplate to get. I know I will need a neutral balanced one, but what about the material and the weight. Should I get a heavier, lighter, or stock weight one, also 168 or 153 teeth. I've got an LT4 starter which I'm hoping will still work with my 383 since its pretty new. Just looking for some opinions.

There are some very high priced flexplates out there, but I don't see the need for one in your application. Get a cheap SFI flexplate, it should work fine. The less expensive ones are all foreign, and AFAIK the flexplate is the only offshore part in my race car. Even my aversion to cheap foreign parts has a limit, I guess.

Whats the stock flexplate weigh? And should I get an equal weight one, lighter or heavier?

Also, if its supposed to be neutrally balanced can it be installed on an internally balanced motor and be alright, or should it be installed and everything spun again to make sure its all balanced?
