I just ordered myself a Fidanza Aluminum flywheel, and was wondering if
I can use it straight out of the box, or do I have to get it balanced first?

 

I think you only need to get it zero or nuetrally balanced (or "take the weight out") if ur rotating assembly is internally balanced. Stock is externally balanced which means its balanced at the flywheel so then u wouldn't. Not too sure so ask someone else too. ttt for u

 

Heatmaker, I'm looking to get a Fidanza aluminum flywheel for my 1997 LT1 Camaro, and I'm a little confused about which Fidanza part number fits the LT1 F-Body cars? Is it Fidanza part number 198581 or 198501???
