ES Trans Mount Whine??

Been doing some reading and have seen that some say the ES tranny mount creates more vibration than a stock mount. My question is does it also create a whine? I have one on my car now and i got a whine that is freakin unbelievable. It is the loudest at 2k rpm and slowly goes down in volume when the rpms get higher up. But i don't really have that much vibration.

Anyone ever had a whine with the ES transmission mount or could this be some sort of driveshaft problem?

I never had a whine. I had the normal increase in vibration as well, but I got used to it real quick. Never heard a whine though. Good luck sorting it out.

I've never had a whine either, just the normal increase in vibration.

i'd bet it is normal...

HOW the sound actually sounds is pretty subjective and is described differently by differnt people.

one person's whine is another's drone, is another's vibration, is normal to another.

it could be causing you to pick up a whine from the tranny or rear

Well i got under the car today and checked to see if everything was alright, turns out that the ES tranny mount is cracked on the sides. Could this probably lead to a whine? Either way i'm ordering a new mount and installing it when it gets here
